As a perfume enthusiast, Charleston native, and of course, expert on the distinctive qualities of southern women, she knew she could capture a scent reflective of their instinctive elegance. A former tv news journalist, Kelly took a very hands-on approach to the development of Charleston Girl, working tirelessly with a chemist to concoct the vision she had for the fragrance.
After almost a year of research and dozens of rejected formulas, she discovered the perfect blend of notes for her vision, and Charleston Girl Perfume was officially born. She designed Charleston Girl Perfume to make every woman feel sexy, sophisticated and elegant with the long-term vision to build an iconic brand through classic scents and luxurious products.
