The maker behind the perfume couldn’t have been more flattered, quickly tweeting back her gratitude.  Today, CEO Kelly Gaskins also issued the following statement to the press.

“Receiving recognition from someone of Leeza Gibbons’ stature is very exciting!” she exclaimed.   “I have worked hard to design a fragrance that women can connect to and look forward to wearing. I was thrilled to see that Ms. Gibbons is a Charleston Girl fan.”

Before Leeza, some of the other celebrities to become fans of Charleston Girl include: Vanessa Lachey, Beth Rucker (the wife of country star Darius Rucker), and actress Jennie Garth to name a few.  Rest assure, however, that number will continue to rise.
